This program is a small-group cultural experience available only on weekdays and by reservation only. It combines the appreciation of the Masaki Museum's collection of East Asian ancient art, including ink paintings and calligraphy, with a tea ceremony experience at the registered tangible cultural property, the Masaki Memorial Residence, offering a glimpse into the aesthetics and spirituality of Japanese culture. First, you will view the artworks in the museum's exhibition rooms. Afterward, you will be served matcha tea and Japanese sweets in the tea room of the Masaki Memorial Residence. Experience Japanese culture with all your senses in the tranquil setting of this sukiya-style architecture. Because this program is limited to small groups and reservations only, you can enjoy a special time in a calm environment, different from a typical visit.
