*This event is made possible with the support of the Kishiwada Festival Neighborhood Association Federation. In every neighborhood that owns a danjiri float, roles are assigned to each age group, from children to the elderly, and each person shares their role in running the danjiri festival. This well-organized structure involving a wide range of generations is one of the major characteristics of the Kishiwada Danjiri Festival. On the other hand, the overall operation of the danjiri festival in each district is carried out by the "nenban" (annual representatives) who are selected from each neighborhood every year, and the nenban chief, who represents the nenban, is in charge of overseeing the festival as the highest-ranking official.
